Another shooting in Twin Falls. This time it happened around 10:30 last night in the Target parking lot.  Police believe a large fight involving 15 to 20 people turned into shots being fired.  Many shell casings were found in the area.  One man suffered minor injuries.  Authorities say he may have been injured by a ricochet of a bullet or minor scratches when he ran from the scene.



Meanwhile Twin Falls police have released more information surrounding the shooting at CSI Wednesday night.  They say it happened near the tennis courts and the victim who appeared to be involved in a fight, was not cooperative.  Someone fired three shots into an unoccupied vehicle. 



Governor Brad Little has appointed Andrew Arulanadam as the new director of the Idaho lottery and state liquor division following the retirement of Jeff Anderson in July.  He was most recently the vice president of the National Rifle Association. 



The city of Twin Falls and the police department are speaking out after what they are calling false and deceptive social media posts about creating a gun registry.  In a news release the city said the information is misleading about the efforts to work with local business owners to reduce the number of stolen firearms sold and used by criminals.  They reaffirmed their support for the 2nd amendment.



A Rupert man is facing 20 charges following an investigation by the Idaho Fish and Game.  Karl Studer is in the center of an investigation that involves an unlawful hunt, using a helicopter to scout for wildlife, overhunting elk and unlawful solicitation of a landowner appreciation tags.



Vape in a Kimberly high school bathroom and you will set off an alarm.  Recently vape detectors have been added.  The district joins around 30 in Idaho that received funds from the Idaho department of Education.



With the wapiti fire burning near Stanley, the Custer county emergency system has moved the possible evacuation to Ready.  That means it’s time to pack a go kit, move livestock and sign up for all emergency alerts.
