Police say a 33 year old Burley man was killed while walking eastbound on State Highway 50 just after 4 yesterday morning. The accident near redcap corner happened when a 53 year old Hansen woman struck the man. He died at the scene of the accident.


Charges have been filed against two men in connection to the homicide that occurred on Capri Drive in the early morning hours of last Thursday. Yesterday police identified the two as 18-year-old Mi"Quavis Dewayne Taylor and 18-year-old Kaden James Thomson both of Twin Falls. The two face 1st degree murder, grand theft and Burglary.


There will be no news cameras in the upcoming murder trial of 28 year old Bryan Kohberger. Yesterday, the judge said he will grant Kohberger’s motion to remove cameras but will offer a livestream of the trial on the Judge’s YouTube channel.


At around 8pm a 29 year old man led police on a car chase after authorities attempted to stop him along Blue Lakes for not having his headlights on. 29 year old Gage Rolph was arrested when he crashed into a fence near the Flying J truck stop. Authorities say he was uncooperative and is suspected of being intoxicated.


The attorney general’s office and the State Board of Education have spent months arguing about closed meetings. Now, they’re fighting about who should pay the lawyers. The state board of education bills exceed 81-thousand. State law says the Governor would have had to tell the AG’s office to pay the bill beforehand.
