From the scoreboard from yesterday’s girls high school basketball games, Minico defeated Burley 60 to 38. Glenns Ferry outlasted Wilder 49 to 22. It was Richfield 39 over Shoshone 16. Oakley told Valley no way with a score of 61 to 33.


The next boys’ basketball game will be on Saturday where Kimberly and Wendell travel to the Delta center in Salt Lake to play a game.


To the college games for the men, Idaho State outlasted Campbell of north Carolina 69 to 55.


Jaylon Johnson was a key reason the 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team beat 10th-ranked Midland and finished 2-1 on the weekend, earning him Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The guard led the Golden Eagles in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. The Golden Eagles lost to third-ranked Odessa on a last second shot and then beat Midland and New Mexico Military. CSI will host the Rob Green Classic Friday and Saturday in the CSI Gymnasium.


Boise State football looks to keep the good times rolling and stay alive in the hunt for a Mountain West title game appearance as it welcomes Air Force to The Blue for a Black Friday affair. The Broncos responded to adversity in dominant fashion last week, defeating Utah State 45-10 in Logan to earn bowl eligibility for the 26th straight season and give Spencer Danielson his first win as the interim head coach. Thanks to back-to-back weeks with upsets atop the conference, Boise State has an opportunity to inch closer to the conference championship and claim its third-straight win on Friday at 2 p.m. inside Albertsons Stadium.
