The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl ended in a blowout Saturday as Georgia State beat Utah State 45-22. Fans were treated to French fries cooked in the Albertsons stadium parking lot.
Not a lot of local sports as schools are closed for the holidays. Over the past weekend there were three High School varsity games. For the boys of canyon Ridge, they took the win against the Caldwell cougars. The score 57 to 38. Elsewhere Kimberly downed Ontario Oregon 88 to 30 and Declo outlasted North Fremont 59 to 49.
