Sports 4/23/24


From the local baseball diamonds in High School Play, the Wood River Wolverines took the win over Jerome 10 to 7.  In 5 innings, Twin Falls shut out Minico 10 to 0.  Wendell for the win over Malad 4 to 3.



From the softball fields, Jerome took the win over Wood River 11 to 10.  Twin  Falls took the win over Century 12 to 1 in 6 innings.  Malad defeated Declo 20 to 8 in five innings and it was Wendell 4 Gooding 2.



On the high school baseball game schedule for today Jerome will travel to Wood River, Kimberly goes to Gooding, Buhl to Wendell, Canyon Ridge to Burley and Minico will visit Twin Falls.



For Softball games, Canyon Ridge visits Burley.  Twin Falls to Minico.  Kimberly will travel to Gooding, Jerome goes to Wood River and Filer to Mountain Home. 



The College of Southern Idaho Men's and Women's Outdoor Track Teams had four individual qualify for the NJCAA Track and Field National Championships and one individual break a school record this past weekend at the Aggie Invitational.  Madelyn Christensen ran an 11:05 in the Steeplechase, breaking the previous CSI record by 17 seconds held by Bailey Wall. The Golden Eagles next travel to Pocatello for the Bengal Invitational Friday and Saturday.
