CSI campus was in lockdown briefly last night.  The Twin Falls Police were investigating a shooting that began as a fight on the campus.  The shots fired report was made around 9:47 pm.  CSI posted to their social media page to avoid the campus grounds while police investigated.



Idaho can’t be sued for the new library law.  That’s according to Attorney General Raul

Labrador.  He said that’s because private citizens are responsible for its enforcement.  A coalition of schools churches and parents filed a lawsuit challenging the Children’s’ School and Library Protection act. 



Twin Falls is warning residents about a recent scam targeting event permit applicants.  The city said not to respond to these fraudulent invoices. If you receive an invoice you believe to be suspicious contact the City directly to verify its authenticity.



A follow-up to a story we aired earlier about the shooting at the Oasis Stop and Go that occurred on August 15th.  Twin Falls detectives have arrested 34 year old Zachariah Gonzales of Twin Falls.  He faces charges of two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. 



After county commissioners asked for help, Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador told state legislators yesterday his office would appeal a forthcoming decision to approve the proposed Lava Ridge Wind Project near Twin Falls.  Labrador made his comments during the Idaho Legislature’s Committee on Federalism meeting in Boise after Jerome County Commissioner Ben Crouch and Twin Falls County Commissioner Jack Johnson asked for the state’s help.



The Idaho State Board of Education approved changes for high school graduation requirements.  The changes would be put in place over a three-year span if approved by the state legislature.  The changes would require students to earn a credit in Digital Literacy and complete a Future Readiness Project, an amended version of the senior project requirement currently in place.
